Entry ticket

This ticket gives you access to Alberto Giacometti's studio and Huma Bhabha / Alberto Giacometti. Dénoue, boucle à boucle, les cheveux d'une idole avant que tes articulations se détachent  exhibition (from 6 february 2026 to 24 mai 2026). In the exhibition rooms and at the entrance, there are guides present that can help you discover the museum and anwer your questions.

Open every day except from mondays (closing day of the Giacometti Institute)

From 10am to 6pm (last entrance at 5:20pm)

Free admission (on presentation of proof): Under 18s, Disabled persons (and one accompanying adult), ICOM card, Journalists, Recipients of minimum social benefits.

The access to the museum is free on 6 february 2026, first day of the exhibition Beauvoir, Sartre, Giacometti Vertiges de l'absolu that day it's not necessary to get a ticket.

As part of the exhibition« Huma Bhabha/ Alberto Giacometti.
Dénoue, boucle à boucle, les cheveux d’une idole avant que tes articulations se détachent… », the Institut Giacometti invites you to attend “Scream and Bezabaan”, a performance by Violaine Lochu, presented inside the exhibition.

Inspired by the work of Giacometti and Bhabha, Violaine Lochu explores the idea of the scream, which is also important in her own work. This multisensory performance looks at its sound, visual, and physical aspects: a form of expression at the edge of what it means to be human, somewhere between a language before words and a language beyond words.

Using clay live during the performance—a key material for both artists—Violaine Lochu becomes a living sculpture, constantly changing, as if coming from a world that feels both ancient and post-apocalyptic.
